I'm attempting a calorie-controlled diet as part of my training programme and inflicting this somewhat upon Carina in the evenings for dinner. Carina knows this is pretty tough for me, as I don't normally like eating my food quite so plain. Dinner at home is as simple as can be and based on a low, medium and high calorie days (2,000, 2,200, and 2,400 calories respectively) stripping out all fatty foods. It's somewhat tough but for the sake of experimenting I will try this for at least a week. Dinner tonight was very simple and part of the medium-calorie day. Salmon with steamed baby cauliflower and broccoli with minimal salt and pepper, only to season, with a touch of lemon juice over the salmon to finish.
Plain but delicious.
